Preface
This has always bothered me (original author Qrsr, the same below):
The pre-war terminal building has remained intact for more than 200 years.
Players can hack to unlock a safe or door that has at least one more lock than the terminal.
That beautiful, makeshift settlement terminal was rarely placed in the original game world.
So, I decided to make some tweaks to slightly increase the immersion and make it better than the original Fallout 4.
Overview
Any objects connected to the terminal will now be unbound or unusable by the terminal (such as doors, robots, turrets, searchlights, and safes).
Any safe that was once connected to a terminal now has a lock layer.
Any door that was once connected to a terminal now has a lock layer.
The lock level is one level higher than the original default.
Lock levels are now divided into Expert or Master levels.
In rare cases, lock levels may be swapped.
Fractured terminal yield material.
The key can still open the safe.
The task will still run normally.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
