Clean up and make the Boston Police Distribution Site a fully functioning settlement
Prerequisite: All DLC
Chinese address (located at the top of the video):
I (original author 1Transient3292, the same below) removed the moles and blood stains and turned the place into a settlement. The green workshop boundaries are 90% accurate and the actual building area extends beyond the east wall. I also removed the latch on the warehouse door.
From wiki:
The prewar Boston Police Department combined a pair of community basketball courts and a railroad unloading yard to create a pantry to provide food and other necessities. The U.S. Army Reserves provide security and loading and unloading of cargo, while police departments handle distribution. The shifts were coordinated by Detective Francis Perry and Sheriff John Rice.
S. Randall of the Police Department dismissed complaints of shortages and missing items. An investigation into ration shortages in the unit began. The missing supplies were the result of collusion between Detective Francis Perry and Sheriff John Rice, who hid them in a utility tunnel between the warehouse and the Massachusetts Turnpike Tunnel.
Perry's cousin Jack sells the supplies on the black market, but Perry's partner, Detective McDonald, becomes suspicious of the couple. In reality, Perry pinned his plans on Rice and skipped town after his cousin Jack moved the cargo to a safer location. This prompts Perry to record a message for Jack, telling him to hurry up and remind him of their plan, including their alibi.
The site consists of a yard adjacent to the railway and a section of train. There is a small two-story warehouse that contains shipping boxes, a locked and sized suitcase, and one of three entrances to the Massachusetts Highway Tunnel. The other two are the East and West Massachusetts Highway Tunnels.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
