About this mod Machine translation
The hunting season has arrived.
Preface: Far Harbor Nuclear World DLC
It all started when I (original author Son Anima, the same below) downloaded the Mutant Menagerie mod from STAMPERDOESMODS, which is an amazing mod. I really wanted to play as a Scout/Hunter, but noticed that there aren't many weapon mods for hunting, especially for Xbox players. So I started learning 3D modeling and how to modify Fallout 4 so that I could add to the already awesome mods.
The goal of this mod is to add weapons better suited for hunting, survival, and later add overhauls to make hunting more realistic to further improve the Xbox experience. This mod will only edit the base game, I will later make a patch for use with Mutant Menagerie - Life Find A Way as I want this mod to be flexible so players can choose to play without the mod if they wish.
Now this mod combines my other 3 weapon mods into one package so that they work better with each other and avoid duplicating ammo. Every weapon in this mod has legendary effects that work in the background to make combat more realistic. Each caliber does extra damage (1.5x) depending on the target, and just like in real life, you can have too many or too few bullets. This mod will also make the world a more dangerous place as enemies using these weapons will also have these buffs, but they should not be overpowered.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
