Better wait menu
Don't waste time waiting.
feature:
Two brand new key listeners: left and right movement keys increase/decrease wait duration by 12 hours per press.
The maximum waiting time is increased to 99 hours.
While waiting, there are no slower, hourly 'ticks' of time. Or choose Keep Marks - both options available in the File section.
Optional console command that can be used anywhere etc.
I often find myself staring at a timer that ticks off a few hours so I can step away for the night and get back into the day. Too many times I scrolled on the wheel and let the timer hit the correct number of hours.
This mod adds keypress listeners for the left and right movement keys (A and D for keyboard users if you're on default), and they modify the wait duration to 12 hours at a time! The time you can wait has also been increased to a maximum of 99 hours instead of 24 hours.
No plugin/ESP required - this is just a plugin interface file.
Rest assured, this mod does not modify the timescale to remove hourly ticks. This is a patch for the wait menu. NPC locations will be updated correctly.
Unfortunately I don't have any gamepads, but they should work the same way - the listener has to use left and right movement actions instead of hardcoded keys. They should respect any key bindings you configure! If you use this mod with a controller, please let me know how it works in the comments section!
The best way to tell if this mod is right for you is to see it in action.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
