Better Power Armor - Power Armor Overhaul

This is a small but effective revamp of Power Armor.

feature:

~Each power armor section covers a specific body part and will completely absorb the damage the body part receives from ballistic and laser weapon types.

• Although no armor components are broken, you are certainly not harmed.
• When a power armor component breaks, this body part will become vulnerable and only this body part, all other body parts are still covered and will not be harmed. For example, when your power armor's left arm breaks, only your left arm can take damage. If you are hit in the torso, you still take no damage. etc.

~When your Power Armor is fully covered, explosives are also absorbed. When a body part breaks, you become vulnerable to explosions.

~Melee damage. You will absorb damage from Raider and Super Mutant attacks for 1 hour and 2 hours. Creatures like deathclaws will still go through your armor, but your powers will be fully functional and you'll take less damage.

~Immunity (optional), Acid, Poison and Fire while your Strength Armor is in good condition. No parts are missing or severely damaged (marked red in HUD)

Optional plugins:

MRPA - Stat Overhaul

Overhauled the torso HP of all power armor to maintain balance.

Reduces the armor of all PA components. It no longer deals with the damage you've done.

Even if the armor parts are broken, the armor still provides a large amount of damage resistance, which is not advisable.

Armor is now considered the base resistance of the Power Armor skeleton, which always covers your body.

Install/

Place in the Data folder and activate esp.

renew/

Exit your power armor before every update!

No special steps required, just cover.

If you have issues with radiated immunity/fire etc (valid even if not in PA)

Do the following (you must have a previously used version installed)

• Exit your Power Armor
• Open the console and enter: help immunity 0
• You should see a spell called Immunity with the ID xx000805
• player.removespell xx000805

uninstall/

• Exit your Power Armor
• Open the console and enter: help immunity 0
• You should see a spell called Immunity with the ID xx000805
• player.removespell xx000805
• Save the game, exit and delete the mod
