About this mod Machine translation
That's right, you grease monkeys, robots - buildings, sons of guns. Tighten your belt, because now comes better AUTOMATRON WEAPONS. Offering re-equips for the Tesla Rifle, Salvaged Assaultron Head, Mr. Handy Buzz Blade, and the Assaultron Blade, this mod makes all of the Automatron DLC's new weapons a little less rubbish. They won't be defeated by the God Destroyers, but they will be better than before.
For that matter, at the time this mod was released, I was the only one testing it. So there may still be some balance issues (I suspect especially with the Tesla rifle variant), so feel free to leave any suggestions in the comments and I'll consider implementing them in a future update!
TESLA RIFLE
I'd be lying if I said I didn't spend most of my time developing this model with this stupid rifle. In its vanilla form, it only deals energy damage and piss energy damage. I've redesigned it and now not only does it not suck, but it's even a little fun to use. I've increased the damage and increased the shot speed, giving it a wild and "carefree" play style as opposed to the previous play style of "Am I even doing any damage?"
•Overall damage to all barrels has been increased.
•Basic firepower doubled. Semi-automatic barrels now pull the trigger quickly.
•The magazine size of all barrels has been increased.
•Fires from Tesla rifles now light up targets.
- Added powerful Railgun barrel.
•Shotgun Barrel is now semi-automatic.
•Lobbing Barrel is now fully automatic.
•Added 3 new attractions (including re-scoped!).
•Automorph now reduces your energy damage by 20% instead of 25%.
•Charging and Railgun barrel accuracy and range have been greatly improved.
•Updated descriptions of weapon models and weapons themselves.
•Weapon weight has been increased to 10.7 (up from 8).
•Perk requirements have been updated for all modules.
ASSAULTRON HEAD OF SALVATION
To be honest, I really don't know what to do. To be honest, I still can't. Its main drawback is its basic functionality: it just takes a long time to ignite. However, its main drawback is also the only thing stopping it from overpowering. Therefore, I mostly kept this weapon and only gave it a slight buff.
•You can now charge up to 10 batteries in the head (up to 5 batteries).
•Shooting in the head will no longer cause radiant damage to the player (as it didn't make any sense in the first place).
•The description of the weapon has been updated to reflect the fact that it no longer deals radiation damage when fired.
gentlemen. HANDY BUZZ BLADE
Honestly, this is my biggest disappointment with DLC. This is Mr. Handy Buzz Blade! Weapon form! It sucks! However, the same problem with Assaultron Head is the same as with Buzz Blade. Its main drawback is its basic functionality. It's an automatic melee weapon, so it does very low damage, and therefore, sucks. Anyway, I decided to give the weapon a little more damage to reflect that it's basically a bigger ripper, and at the same time, give it an added weight to counter the damage increase.
- Damage increased by 8 (up from 5, making it deal twice the base damage of the Ripper).
•Added Overclock upgrade to give weapons a chance to stun enemies.
•Weapons now deal a small amount of bleed damage, making them more effective against weaker enemies.
•Weapon weight has been increased to 15 (up from 10).
ASSAULTRON blade
Basically, this weapon is nothing more than a foil sword. I had no reason to watch it since it wasn't that unique in the first place, but I decided "well, if I don't do something, other people are going to be mad at me and I can't handle criticism anyway, at least on a mental psychological level, so WELP better start working on it."
•Damage increased by 27 points (from 17 points).
•Power Blade damage increased to 8 (from 5).
•Added Vibro Blade upgrade with the possibility to disarm enemies.
•Added Overclocking Blade upgrade with chance to stun enemies
•Weapon range increased by 800%.
•The AP cost of weapons has been increased to 45 ( …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
