Best color correction – Fallout 4

Fallout 76's best tones come to Fallout 4: an improved visual appearance that makes the game's colors less vibrant. Sharper, less blurry, eliminates faded effects and improves clarity. Update on the Apocalypse. I like.

As shown in the picture, this is a personal preset, modified according to my (referring to the original author Yaddok, the same below) preferences.

I just installed fallout 4 in 2023 and optimal recolor is still working fine for me. NOTE: If you have problems, just uninstall Reshade (if you have the latest one) and use my file, since you don't need to install Reshade, just copy and paste my file.

You'll notice the game is a bit washed out, but that fits the game's post-apocalyptic plot.

How to install:

• Unzip the file.

• Overwrite 3 files in the main Fallout 4 folder: in my case E: Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout4.

• To activate or deactivate a preset in the game, use the [Scr lk] keys if you don't know the location, see the keyboard in the screenshot.

How to uninstall:

• Delete the same 3 files from the Fallout 4 folder.

Optional:

• There is another version "Best Sweet Recolor - Fallout 4" which is more colorful and vibrant, it removes the faded effect of the game and improves the appearance and clarity.

• There is another more natural version, "Best Natural Recolor - Fallout 4", recommended if you just want to use the game's original colors, which removes the game's faded effect and improves the look and clarity.
