BB Boy W.S. (Lite version and BB2000 replacement)

Replaces the original Pip-Boy with a brand new community-designed and fully customized animated Pip-Boy with extensive customization.

As shown in the picture, the new work of Mr. Neeher, the brand new WS version of BB Boy. Since the number of files is large and the size is not small, I will still choose to publish it in several times. Here is the Lite version and the replacement of BB Boy 2000 (1k and 2K)

This Pip-Boy is actually a community effort created by my YouTube subscribers and Facebook and Twitter fans! Last time we made Select Shotgun. This time we compiled a bunch of possible design options and everyone voted for their favorite features. We combined them into this new Pip-Boy.

This mod is a replacement that replaces the player's original Pip-Boy 3000, but does not work with other NPCs. Featuring all new animations as well as multiple custom classes that can be crafted at the armor workbench. You can also craft a Pip-Boy WS for a companion or anyone else and have them equip it.

Install normally using MO2 or Vortex. Manual installation is also possible as this mod uses archives. This mod does not require any DLC, F4SE or other mods.

The models and textures of this mod are geared towards high quality. To be on the safe side, test how your PC handles it before committing.

Complete - The entire mod with all customizations available in 2k and 1k texture options

Lite - Just the basic Pip-Boy itself, no customization other than the badge. Only in ESL. 2k and 1k texture options available. This is also the Xbox version.

Xbox - Available in low and high quality versions. Older Xboxes should use LQ, while the current generation can use HQ.

Pip2000 Replacer - Offers 2k and 1k texture options. This version is for users who are currently using a Pip-Boy 2000 Mk VI and wish to switch to this version. This newer Pip-Boy is intentionally built upon the legacy game so users can safely switch to the new game mid-game without damaging their save games. For security reasons, plugin names are matched. However, once you switch to this mod, you can't go back. This is because many new forms have been added. So before submitting it to your save, make sure it's right for you.

F.A.Q. Time

Q: I have some Creation Club paint for my Pip-Boy 3000. Can I use it with this mod?

Answer: No. These CC paints are for Pip-Boy 3000, not Pip-Boy WS. The way skins are applied is fundamentally different with this mod.

Q: I have the older Pip-Boy 2000 MK VI mod, can I switch to this mid-game?

Answer: Yes! There is an optional version of the file you can download to safely switch to your new Pip-Boy. Read more under "Installation".

Q: When I use the gold material option, they become flat and dull? ?

A: The gold textures are made from original cubemaps, which create a golden shiny effect without increasing the mod file size. Mods that change these cubemaps, or even some ENBs, may mess with the textures this mod relies on. This also works for bronze, copper and tempered textures.

Q: Is the filament on my Pip-Boy WS not that vibrant or does it look flat?

A: Somewhat similar to the previous question, ENB can change the way these filaments fire in game. I've confirmed that it looks good in the original Fallout 4 as well as the ENB I'm using. I don't exactly know which one I'm using, haha.

Q: What about the 2k and 1k texture options?

A: Both file versions are high-quality BC7 compression, but considering that the 1k option is only a quarter of the density of the 2k option, there's still a big quality difference between the two options. You can switch between the matching two to see which one suits you best. That shouldn't rhyme. But the plugin is the same, so it's safe to do so.
