A fully functional milk vending machine has been added to Fallout 4. Now available in 2 variants and 2 currency options! Original and vanilla texture! Get Brahman Milk (from Slocum's Joe CC) for 7 caps and/or $1, complete with sound effects and a happiness bonus as your settlement.

What this module does

Added 2 buildable milk vending machines under Workshop > Decorations > Miscellaneous. Available in original and original versions

Costs 4 Empty Milk Bottles, 1 Rubber, 4 Steel Crafting, 2 Circuit Crafting, and a can of paint for the original version.

Once activated, you can purchase Brahman Milk for 7 caps and the USD version for $1.

Provides +2 happiness to your settlement when placed.

Milk is dispensed with authentic vending machine sound effects.

The button automatically resets after each use (no more "stuck" button presses).

Prevents too frequent interactions - you must wait 1 second until the machine resets before making another purchase.

About milk.

The machine dispenses standard Brahman milk and can be consumed like any other food/drink. This mod won't work without slocum's joe CC, so you must have that mod before downloading it. More compatibility options may be added for other mods in the future. This is my first scripted mod, so I'm still learning, which is why I update often. The .esp was cleaned using fo4edit and tagged with the Light plugin. I've also included the Loose file for download.

Visual effects

The machine's original textures were created by ScottyX2, giving the vending machine a clean, freshly painted appearance. Texture swapping only works on this machine (it won't cover the original machine). Be sure to check out their mod Pristine Workshop Assets for more original pre-war decor!

default

uses base Fallout 4 materials, so it should be compatible with any retexturing.

Install

Install using Vortex or Mod Organizer 2.

Or unzip the archive into your folder.

Uninstalling in the game should be no problem, just make sure you scrap any machines placed in the game before deleting. Fallout 4/Data
