Notice:
Since the video I made below, I actually tried making the cannon's barrel frictionless, which seems to actually make the cannon fire properly every time now, instead of just a 50% chance like in the video.
describe:
This mod adds a usable cannon to Fallout 4's Stronghold Workshop mode. The cannon has a fully dynamic barrel and wheels so it can move while the projectile is in flight.
Cannon Parts:
-Cannon
-cannonballs
- Cannon Lock (the cannon is fully dynamic so it can be moved to the desired position and then locked and aimed by pushing the lock into the rear of the cannon frame).
How to use:
-Place/aim cannon cannon
- Throw a bunch of mines in the open compartment at the rear of the barrel (about as many, to force the shells to be enclosed within the barrel itself).
- Push the shell through the front of the cannon barrel and detonate the mine.
While not required, I recommend using the cool bullet time mod, which will better allow you to see the cannon pellets being fired.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
