Automatic 45 Caliber Pipe Gun Receiver.45 caliber pipe gun receiver

Hi, thanks for checking out my first humble endeavor in a Fallout 4 mod!

I chose this as my first effort at creating a model in Fallout 4 because I thought it was odd that the barrel gun weapon didn't have a fully automatic .45 caliber option. There is an option for a semi-automatic .45, not to mention a .45 caliber pipe revolver, but there is no fully automatic .45 caliber pipe gun. Not sure this was an intentional choice on Bethesda's part considering the presence of the Submachine Gun & Combat Rifle weapon, but I think this mod will fill a good niche for people who will soon be hooking up to their pipe weapons and get more use before changing to the more powerful full auto option later in the game. Plus, if you haven't been lucky enough to find an enemy submachine gun or fully automatic battle rifle and can't pass up buying one, you now have a great third option!

====================

Installation: Simply extract PipeGun45Auto.esp to the Fallout 4 Data folder, or install from a 7z archive using an installer like NMM.

====================

Requirements: Just like the Semi-Auto .45 Caliber Barrel Gun Receiver Attachment, you must have level 2 of the Gun Nut perk to be able to craft this mod on the Weapons Workbench. The recipe is 7 adhesive, 8 aluminum, 6 gears, 6 oil and 7 screws.

Additionally, barrelgun weapons equipped with this mod *should* start showing up as loot at level 16. If you have any questions please let me know!

====================

It's totally fine by me - and flattered - if you want to incorporate this mod into one of your own or use it as a basis for your own work; all I ask is that I get due credit. Thanks!

There was an option for semi-auto.45, not to mention the.45 caliber Pipe Revolver guns, but no full-auto.45 caliber Pipe Gun. Not sure if this was a deliberate choice by Bethesda given the presence of the Submachine Gun & Combat Rifle weapons, but I figured this mod would fill in a good niche for folks (such as myself) who would just as soon hang on to their Pipe weapon & get a bit more use out of it before changing up to the more powerful full-auto options later in the game. Plus, if you haven't been lucky enough to find a Submachine Gun or full-auto Combat Rifle on an enemy yet, and can't spare the caps to buy one, then you've now got a decent third option!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
