Game: Fallout 4
Author: gt9797
Installation method:
Move the .ahk.exe/none.txt file to the root directory of FO4 instead of the data folder. (The script will work no matter where you put it. Moving it to FO4's home directory will make the default save location for pose files into that folder, which is where you load standard bat files)
What does the script do?
In a nutshell: it automatically enters Morph console commands based on key combinations (eg: B + Numpad "add" to increase Jaw Open).
Console command entered: [MFG Morphs].
It works very similarly to Object Mover AutoHotkey. The main difference is that this script opens and closes the console so that console command changes can be applied (morph commands only make changes when the game is not paused).
When scripting is enabled via CapsLock, the keys AZ, 1-4 Numpad +/- and the arrow keys are bound to hotkeys. Turning off CapsLock will return the functionality of these keys.
How to use:
Leave Fallout 4 open, then launch FO4_FacePoser
In the game, open the console "~" and click on the target NPC or player.
Then press the [Caps Lock] key. This will enable the HotKey script and its tools. (Caps Lock ON = Scripting On, and vice versa)
When HotKey is enabled, start face impersonation using the hotkey combination shown in the Live tab.
Facial poses can be saved or reset at any time. Please see the Important Notes on Limitations section in the "Information/Description" tab of the FO4_FacePoser program.
A facial pose is saved, which can be applied at any time via the console command "bat filename".
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
