About this mod Machine translation

Speed up your game loading.

Prefix:

Fallout 4 Script Extender (F4SE):

SUP F4SE:

The ESP and ESL versions have been packaged and uploaded together, and you can choose to install them according to your needs.

---

If you use a console like this to run file adjustments, it will improve your game loading speed. Or any console tweaks placed in a txt file that runs automatically when the game starts.

My friend and I noticed that this console tweak, which was loaded along with the game, significantly slowed down the main menu's appearance. I want fast load times and don't want to deprive myself of this adjustment. Now, it's here.

Install

  • Remove this string sStartingConsoleCommand=bat [any filename here (remember this name)] from the GENERAL section of Fallout4.ini and/or Fallout4Custom.ini. Alternatively, you can annotate it using ";" as the first string symbol.
  • Rename the .txt file in the Fallout 4 folder (the name you remembered from step one) to AutoeXec.txt.
  • Install this mod. There's also SUP F4SE, if you haven't installed it yet.

Glad your main menu loads quickly now (~1400 seconds with mine ~10 plugins).

I don't use the autorun txt tweak, will I get a boost from using it?

No.

Will it work in N generation?

If SUP F4SE works in N gen - this mod does too, no updates. In fact, I am in theory now, not in practice. I haven't played N-Gen yet, maybe it doesn't need to be there at all. I have no idea. But technically it will work after SUP update.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
