About this mod Machine translation
Good kids help parents! This mod allows you to assign child settlers to work like any adult settler.
In the face of difficulties, everyone's labor force should be mobilized and developed to transform the environment and do what they can.
+++Description+++
When you visit Nordhagen Beach, Warwick Homestead or Somerville Square Settlement, you'll notice how children help their parents with their work. That's great, isn't it? This may change after they decide to join the militia.
More than once in my game, these lazy brats decided that standing around all day ("unassigned") would be a fun activity. I don't condone this lack of dedication, so this mod makes them assignable.
+++Function+++
Make child settlers assignable to work items (this includes Meg from Bunker Hill)
Provide appropriate names for the original inhabitants of the entire home
Added missing relationship between father and daughter in Somerville Place
Fixed June Warwick unassignable vanilla bug
+++Installation+++
Just put the esp into your fallout 4 data folder and activate.
+++Uninstall+++
Deactivate the esp and delete it from the Fallout 4 data folder.
+++Known issues+++
If you start the game without the mod, you will not be able to assign children. Why? Because the original values of their creative variables are already stored in your save game. Don’t worry, this can be easily fixed with the following process:
Make sure you are not in workshop mode.
Go to the child, press ~ to open the workbench and click on the child to select it. Make sure to select the child and not some "fog" or other transparent object.
Type "cf SetCommandable true" - Enter
Close the console and activate Workshop Mode. The Command button should now be available to the child.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
