About this mod Machine translation

This mod adds the Advanced Systems Vektor custom weapon system to Fallout 4.

[Note: The following video was posted a few days ago. It doesn't reflect some new changes. Will be new soon. ]

Based on the Vector Kriss Polymer SMG, it is a compact mid-range weapon.

It's not a heavy hitter, but that quickly becomes noticeable in high-speed recoil systems, especially in full-auto mode.

The Vektor uses 10mm ammo and can be converted to .45 on the bench.

It is mostly upgradeable and the mods are listed below.

RECEIVERS: All vanilla options, including .45 conversion.

Magazines: Standard, large and drum magazines in regular and rapid ejection formats.

MUZZLES: Flash Hider, Muzzle Break and Suppressor.

Scopes: Standard iron sights, reflex, recon, standard short sight and night vision scopes.

GRIPS: Standard, Recoil Compensation (same as standard model) and Tactical Shooter Stock.

I have a few more in progress including the barrel and front attachment for the bottom rail.

They will be added in future updates.

Starting with version .90, you can choose to download the Institute version or the Wasteland version.

Install using your favorite Mod Manager.

Commonwealth versions are sold by the following arms dealers.

Arturo of Diamond City: KLEO of Goodneighbor: Cricket (Caravan): Tinker Tom (RR): Proctor Teagan (BOS)

This institute version is sold by friendly requisition vendors.

[Please Note: If the vendor above does not have AS Vektor, sit around and wait 24 hours and their inventory should regenerate. ]

It took me a few weeks and before I was willing to release it, but I haven't played FO4 in a long time.

The biggest thing that wasn't included in the original release was the pistol version.

The pistol features 10mm animation, but due to mag positioning issues and the animation not making much sense, I left it out.

This uses Combat Rifle animation and has minor positioning issues. Reload and bolt action look good, but

The actual rifle grip is a little off. I'm trying to separate the difference between the grip/trigger and the forehand grip.

As new animations or barrels are included in future updates, this should be less noticeable and/or not an issue.

Both stocks are on the right shoulder. I should be able to fix this in the next update.

After uploading the file and playing it, I noticed that the trigger was in the wrong position. Will be fixed in next update.

For those who don't mind the file size, I might combine versions of both mod texture sets into one.

The comments section welcomes any suggestions, comments, criticisms, etc.

Please post if you encounter any bugs, or discover any spectacular omissions.

I tried to balance the stats but I'm sure I'm missing something or something is too powerful.

If any adjustments are needed, please let me know.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
