About this mod Machine translation
Do you like modern weapons like me, but feel they are too tactical and incompatible with the wasteland? Then this gun is for you!
Prerequisite: Nuka World DLC
As shown in the picture, this mod is the author's personal opinion on the classic MP5 that appears in many games, including in the Fallout 4 mod. The debate about whether modern weapons belong in Fallout has been bothering the author for a while. He wants to try to make some modern weapons that still look legend-friendly in Fallout, such as military rifles. So the original author came up with this design, inspired by games like the Metro series and The Walking Dead Saints & Sinners, have a blast!
Where can I get it?
The MP5 should be spawned into the world at level 10, it should be in the hands of Gunners, Minutemen, Marauders, and Diamond City Security, you can also buy it from the weapons merchant for a hefty price (since it's a pre-war gun in slightly "better" condition)
What about accessories?
The gun has a fair amount of customizations, even including skins for different factions (specifically Gunners, Minutemen, and Marauders)
Update on May 18: Based on messages in the comment area and elsewhere, the following fixes have been made:
~The drum reloading time is lengthened and the mold-piercing problem is fixed
~The metal gun stock will no longer penetrate the protagonist's shoulder (from any viewing angle)
~Fixed power armor usage animation
~2 new standard and clean/reconditioned versions of the long barrel, but still pretty dirty to keep the Fallout vibe :)
~The muzzle node on the long barrel has been fixed.
The title is changed to Apocalypse Now - Thing Edition MP5, and the version number is updated to 1.3

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
