About this mod Machine translation
brief description; introduction
APC or Armored Personnel Carrier is a mode that adds a "mobile" home base to the game. You can travel through 11 key locations evenly distributed across the map (even in survival zones). It uses fuel to do so without immersion damage. Additionally, it has its own custom interior that includes several buildable workbenches, plenty of containers for all your loot, and a fairly comfortable couch to rest your head between adventures. This is a standalone mod, it only works with the vanilla game, but if you already have a lot of other mods, don't worry this shouldn't interfere with any of them. This mod also has its own "tutorial" which walks you through some of the basics, so if you've had enough to read then download this mod now and head to concord to find the APC, good luck.

Where to find APC
If you make the effort to find the APC go to Concord and stand in front of the museum (Preston tells you to pick up the rifle) then turn right and walk towards the power lines in the background (you should have a white church on your left) keep going and follow the path to the right and you will see a bunch of old tree trunks and a hill where the APC is. Find images in the gallery for reference.
How to use fast travel
When you enter the APC you can travel by looking at pins on the map on the right, note that pins unlock when you discover a location, for example if you have never been to Diamond City the pin won't be there but it will show if you have visited before or discovered it after installing the mod.
After completing the "mini-tutorial", the map and pins will be revealed, then return to the APC's shelter.
Noob Disclaimer
I'm a professional environment artist and this is my first time trying to script, I tested this mod and spent a long time trying to optimize my abilities so everything should work as expected with as little impact on performance as possible. However, as I said, I'm new to scripting, so if something goes wrong I can try to figure it out, but there's no guarantee I'll be able to do it.
Things have decreased
As I mentioned above I cut the bubbler holder and magazine holder for space, but there was a feature early on that made the bench travel and crafting take time, like using the wait command, unfortunately it was bugged and instead of e.g. 2 hours it moved the time 4 days 2 hours which made it a nightmare to survive. I spent countless hours getting this thing to work but I couldn't and decided to cut it. If by some miracle I'm able to fix it, I'll make an updated version of the mod using this feature.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
