About this mod Machine translation

So, if you've looked at all my previous mods, you might have noticed that I have a lot of hair-related mods. Well, that's because I really like hairstyles. In fact, my first model on this site was from New Vegas. I just want my character to look good, whether I'm playing a game like The Sims, or like a Fallout game. This has been a goal of mine since I first started modding to be able to create my own hairstyle from scratch, and now I actually have it!

Before the game came out, my concept for the Fallout 4 character Zella looked a lot like the picture shown above, with that semi-fixed lavender hairstyle. The vanilla game doesn't make me look the way she wants her to look and I want to change that. From there, I went from learning basic texturing, to editing meshes, to finally being able to model and be able to do what I wanted with those models. It's been over two years since I first drew Zella, and she looks just like she did when I first imagined her. :)

I've been working on these five styles for the past two months, spending a hundred and fifty hours making them and getting them game-ready. Hope you all like them!

Here are the five styles I've created so far (update 1.1 includes six styles!), and I'll be sure to include them when I make more styles in the future. I wanted to continue the theme of basing my original characters on, as you can see two of my favorite characters already have two styles based on them.

I also plan to add hairstyle wigs in an update soon.

The Zella Ponytail comes in three styles: one with a red polka dot bow, one with a dark bow, and one without. The hair was restored by Nuka World.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
