About this mod Machine translation
"God fought with the best artillery on one side" - Napoleon, probably, idk
Annoyed at the lazy ass militiamen because it took them so long to fire their cannons? Don’t you think 1-2 shells per minute really captures the essence of artillery? Want to rain down lightning-fast focused death on your enemies? Then this mod is for you!
A full barrage now consists of 6 quick 3-shell shells (if you have enough shells, that is; you need at least 3 to fire a full-sized shell, obviously, more means more volleys, max). The first one is guaranteed to be a perfect target, the rest cover the area. The entire show is over in about 20 seconds, although your jaw may take longer to finish.
Known issues
The artillery no longer turned towards the target. This is by design and requires a higher burn rate. Turning to the target requires not only animation time but also several timers and callbacks with unacceptable latency.
When summoning artillery far from your position (try the cannon and the torch guns included with the range extension, they're a lot of fun) sometimes the cannonballs land less often than the cannonballs (2 per volley instead of 3). I think this has to do with the view distance interacting with the invisible virtual object calling the shell. Anyway, this is a Bethesda issue; try getting a little closer in the fire to see the full effect.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
