About this mod Machine translation

This mod will add the construction of a new workbench called "Ammunitions Workbench", allowing for a variety of ammunition including special ammo. With perks and materials, everything is balanced. [Optional] Gatling Laser has been modified to use a new ammo instead of Fusion Core. [Optional] Weapons like the .44 Revolver, Minigun, Gatling Laser, Alien Blaster, and .50 Receiver have also been rebalanced to improve fun without removing too much balance.

To craft ammunition, you need some specific perks and components, and building a workbench requires local leader level 2, just like any other workbench. Making ammunition is very interesting, for example, to make a box of shotgun shells, you need to make pellets + shotgun shells + gunpowder + primer, to make fusion cells, you need aluminum, circuits, adhesives, plastics and electrochemical cells. Each ammo craft is developed to be as immersive as possible, any suggestions are welcome.

Mines and grenades now require more immersive components, and new types have been added to the Nuke Mine and Nuka Grenade. The Gatling Laser now uses a new type of ammunition instead of Fusion Core: Gattling Fusion Cell. NPCs using Gatling Lasers now also drop ammo.

Some weapons were modified to be more interesting and immersive:

Minigun +25% base damage

Gatling Laser + 30% base damage. 44 Revolver + 50% base damage

Alien Blaster +50% base damage

Pipe Bolt Action .50 Receiver 75% to 150% damage bonus

Rifle .50 receiver 75% to 150% damage bonus

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
