Alex’s Copperhead Assault Platform
Alex’s Copperhead Assault Platform is designed to bring the legend-friendly AR-15/M16 platform rifle to the Commonwealth wilderness while maintaining the essence of a true weapons platform. There are many parts to the platform, and they are all fully interchangeable between all variants of the rifle. You can easily customize your rifle to match your play style. Shotguns, snipers, submachine guns, classic assault rifles and more.
The platform
All parts are completely interchangeable. You can freely switch between receivers, magazines, stocks, barrels, and more. There are also several unique items to be found, if you can decipher the clues...
background
This was originally a late-game weapon, even spawning after the vanilla assault rifle. It's designed to help you fight for longer against your enemies' infinitely increased health in the Commonwealth.
Contains full binning list integration thanks to a_blind_man's injection script. You'll find mid- to high-level gunners, high-level raider bosses, and high-level vendors
Legend found rifle variants:
Although uncommon, the Copperhead assault platform and its variants were used by the U.S. military prior to World War I. Each variant has its own story to tell, but the entire platform traces its roots to the cottonmouth marksman rifles of the late 1950s. In the post-war Commonwealth, rifles found their way into the hands of raiders and gunners via caravans from the West. However, there are rumors that the Gunners gained control of a manufacturing plant in suburban Boston from the pre-war era. Although unconfirmed, time may reveal more information on the matter.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
