Introduction
This mod adds a highly customizable AKM with a variety of options to suit your various needs.
feature:
- 3 unique items:
- "AK-74" is located at Railway Headquarters.
- "Exodus" is located on the ground outside the door of Vault 114.
- "Prizrak-9" is a decay reactor site located in a glowing ocean.
-Sight customization, each reflex sight has 5 different ones, same as my other mods.
- Support Scrivener's range coverage framework and provide custom range coverage for remote ranges.
- There are a fair number of customization options, both large and small.
- Ranked list integration.
- A secondary weapon TT-33 Tokarev pistol.
Prerequisites
Fallout 4 version 1.10.162 or higher
Due to the changes made to the number of expansion addon forms in the latest updates to Fallout 4 and the Creation Kit, this means that if you notice the game crashes, this mod and most subsequently released mods will not work on any version prior to 1.10.162
If the module "does not appear" after installation, it is likely that you are not running this version of the game and need to update.
I would also recommend using an ENB that replaces the original bloom, as this may cause the reticle to over-bloom, which is not the case with any of the ENBs used during testing. I personally use Seasons of the Abyss and some color adjustments in reshade.
FAQ
- How do I get the weapon?
There are 5 ways to obtain weapons:
- Crafted at the Chemistry Workbench
- 3 presets (AKM, RPK and AKS-74U)
- Offers the option to craft three new ammo from raw materials or vanilla ammo.
- There is also a second menu where you can craft tons of ammo and weapons for free.
- Look for the special edition mentioned above.
- It's in the tier list and you should find it on the Weapon Merchant and Gunner/Raider.
- Console command ("Help AKM 4 WEAP" will give you the correct ID) or in-game ESP Explorer
- Why does it fire .308 bullets?
That way everyone can just pick it up and use it without having to craft new ammo types or rely on hard DLC or mods that no one will really care about. Patches are provided in the optional files section produced by Zachtan.
- Hasn't this been done before?
Yes, quite a few people have released AK or AK-like mods over the years, but I wanted to make my own version that included some common features from my mods.
- Damage modifier?
The one made for free in the second menu has a damage bonus from -60% to +100% in 20% increments, so that those who want it can see it and those who don't want to use it can hide it.
- Patch for Horizon or other overhauled mods?
I won't be making patches for other mods, anyone can make and publish their own as long as it's limited to specific content.
- Xbox version?
Anyone is welcome to port to Xbox, as long as the source is cited.
- What armors/outfits/presets are in the screenshots?
Almost none of the screenshots were taken by me (because I'm terrible at screenshots), and most of them are private moderators, so don't ask.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
