The original Amazing Follower Tweaks mod was a multi-companion follower framework that allowed you to have 5 normal follower system companions + dogmeat (max 6 total), with tons of features such as all companions inserting dialogue scenes, tons of customization in terms of AI, clothing, affinity reactivity, and more.

This mod is an enhancement to this, with a range of fixes, more dialogue interjections, and features.

Works with any Fallout 4 version! Some of these features include increasing the humanoid follower limit to 10, assigning vertical bird seats, charm-based recruitment, the option to disable the spouse companion feature, and support for The Sims Settlement 2.

Eden Papyrus Script Expander (AFT Plus version 4.0 and later)

• If you are running the latest update of FO4 (Anniversary Edition), temporarily use AFT Plus version 3.05 until all f4se dependent modules are updated.

(As of AFT Plus version 3.01, the original Amazing Follower Tweaks files are now included).

Install:

• Non-AE version: Eden Papyrus Text Expander (all requirements)
• Install AFT PLUS (with FOMOD, you can check the options you are interested in)
• Other AFT Plus patches provided by Amazing FollowerTweaks Plus (AFT Plus) Patch Center for Fallout 4 - Mods and Community

Load late in the load order to avoid conflicts.

Issues may arise when upgrading from older AFT to AFT Plus in an existing archive. It's best to use a fresh save that doesn't have AFT pre-installed, or start a new game.

About the original Amazing Follower Tweaks mod and its optional patches:

The changes to the AFT_Use_Original_Spouse patch are now included in the AFT Plus fomod, so the old patch is now redundant.

Don't use the Alt_Names_pack patch from the original AFT mod, just use the new version I created which now has the ESL flag and has more names like Jake from SS2.

Do not use the AFT_AI_Priority_Boost patch, either, it is no longer compatible.

In general, to be on the safe side, don't use other patches unless you know what you're doing and know how to use xEdit to resolve your own conflicts.

Note: Starting from AFT+ V3.01, AFT is no longer a pre-mod, that is to say, you can choose either AFT+ or AFT to install.

AFT PLUS latest features:

• Limit of 10 followers/companions

The original AFT only allowed a maximum of 5 humanoid/robot companions, plus Dogmeat, for a total of 6. As of version 3.03, I've doubled this number, allowing 10 humanoid/robot companions + dogmeat, for a total of 11 actively following companions.
