The Screaming Eagle Rifle Remastered and Infused into Fallout 4
Prerequisite: Nuka World DLC
I've always loved the Screaming Eagle, so over the past few weeks I've been building high-quality Screaming Eagle rifles with custom models, textures, and animations for players, human NPCs, and power armor. My rifle has a lot more attachments and skins to choose from than the 76 original. I also renamed the Screaming Eagle Rifle to "Advanced Battle Rifle" so that it fits the Bethesdas naming pattern.
Custom options
Modification accessories
4 Magazines: 2 AR10 Waffle Magazines and 2 AR15 STANAG Magazines.
6 Barrels: AR10 and AR15 style barrels in 3 different lengths.
4 Gauntlets: Simple, Exhaust, Assault and Tactical.
4 muzzles: compensator, Ak74 muzzle brake, simple suppressor and ordinary suppressor.
4 miscellaneous accessories: bipod, 2 flashlights, bayonet, VATS sighting unit.
14 scopes: including ACOG-style scopes with usable backup scopes, items that switch to using backup scopes can be crafted at the Chemistry Station.
7 stocks: full version, improved collapsible stock and regular collapsible stock as well as their two length modifications, shooter stock and hunting stock.
skin
Faction skins: Brotherhood of Steel, Academy, Railroad, Minutemen, Enclave and Gunners.
Camo skins: Aqua, Snow, Desert, Woodland and Tropical.
Unique skin: Screaming Eagle.
Color Skin: Black and Green Polymer.
With the exception of the Gunslinger and Enclave skins, all faction skins can only be crafted if you are a member of the associated faction. The Screaming Eagle skin can only be found as a unique weapon, but the skin can be removed from it and added to any other battle rifle. Unique weapons can be found on Ghost Island, see picture.
Integration list
The rifle uses 308 bullets, which are very rare in early games, so the weapon does about 30% more damage than Nuka World's handcrafted weapons.
Drop distribution:
Level 15: Weapons Merchant, Legendary Drops, and Brotherhood of Steel Soldiers.
Level 20: Leader of the Gunners.
Level 25: Member of the Volunteer Army.
Level 35: Gunner member.
Level 45: Raider boss.
Update on May 22: Fixed some material textures of firearms and polished the shooting animation. Now it is easier to catch enemies in time when firing.
The package includes body and animation patches and skins, which can be installed according to personal needs. The version number is updated to 1.5.1
Update July 22: Fixed the unique Screaming Eagle skin not appearing and the explosion legendary effect bug. As well as the ACOG sight mirror transparency problem, the main body, ACOG patch and upgrade package, and three skin packages have been uploaded together, and you can choose to install them according to your preferences.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
