Updated on April 13th:
Version 1.0.2
Fixed incorrect material display on premium collapsible stocks.
Fixed issue with advanced reflex (dot) sights having incorrect reticle.
In addition, an optional Potenial CTD Hotfix is updated. Someone in the comments reported that a crash occurred when installing an advanced collapsible stock. However, the original author said that he had never experienced this problem and could not judge whether it was a common phenomenon, so he uploaded this file. That is, this file can only be used to overwrite and install when the crash occurs during modification. In other cases, it is not needed at all.
Updated on February 28th:
Version 1.0.1
Adjusted recoil and slightly increased reload speed.
Fixed incorrect magazine size on large quick change stanag magazine.
----
This is a complete replica of my (original author Brainstormepilog, the same below) previous Screaming Eagle module. The new mod represents my progress since making the original mod. It includes all the cool stuff I've learned since then, like super mutant animations, windowed magazines with actual bullet consumption, and general improvements to animations, textures, and models.
balance:
This mod adds two weapons to the game, the 308 caliber "Adv Battle Rifle" and the 556 caliber "Adv Battle Carbine". Both weapons are balanced around battle rifles and craft rifles. These weapons can be easily rebalanced in the game with damage modifiers, said modifiers are named after different ammo classes, they don't actually change the ammo, they are just named that way to be more immersive than a simple name like +10% damage.
Generate behavior:
Both weapons begin to spawn in non-combat roles after level 20. This includes things like quest rewards, merchants, and legendary drops. Between levels 20 and 30, the weapons slowly start to appear on typical friendly NPCs and boss-type NPCs. After level 30, weapons start spawning on more common hostile NPCs. A unique version of the ammo spawns near the crashed bird in the Glowing Sea, see the screenshot for the exact location.
Custom options:
Modules
There are too many customization options to list them all. Said customization options are primarily inspired by the typical look of the AR10, M4, M4, FONV Marksman Carbine and the P416 from Far Cry 3/4. All parts of the above weapons can be combined, 308 M16, side mounted P416 with drum magazine? Everything is possible.
skin
The mod comes with a ton of color options, each of which should have something for themselves. There's also a customizable skin option, and here's a tutorial on how to customize it.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
