About this mod Machine translation
This mod adds extremely powerful boss-level creatures to the locations marked by 27 red skulls as shown in the picture. Types include:
Giant cockroach and cricket (these two were born at the entrance of Shelter 111. They are docile neutral monsters. They will not hit you unless you hit them, but they are low-level and annoying, especially the crickets)
4 kinds of giant beasts (including the father and grandfather of the Swan family)
Various death claws (including alligator claws and quantum death claws)
Huge flying insects (blood-sucking insects, stinging insects and flies, which are about 1.7 times the size of ordinary insects and may cause discomfort)
Huge radiation scorpions (one glowing, one non-luminous, extremely difficult to deal with)
Three larger luminous ghouls
Huge seafood (bog crab family, fog shrimp, salamander, and monkfish)
Giant bear and gorilla (not King Kong, not that big!)
Giant Mole and Giant Rat
Huge glowing deer and mutant eland (not docile, will attack actively)
Glowing dire wolf, giant mutant dog
huge mixed breed dog
Iron Guard prototype (thick armor, slightly larger than ordinary Iron Guard)
This mod is based on the overhaul of the wild bosses in the War Mania series, and combines the newly added content of the N-Net renewable legendary bosses. Adhering to the production ideas of "Eternal Night's Jin Chenxi" predecessors' balance, no scripts, and removing useless content, it can be regarded as an enhanced version of the wild boss overhaul. Compared with the prototype mod, the improvements are:
- The size has been re-corrected according to combat power and race. The new boss will not be blocked due to its excessive size, nor will it appear too small to look like a boss. For example, although giant dogs, flying insects, etc. belong to the agility type, they are much taller than humans. The giant swamp crab queen and giant beasts, although much larger than ordinary species, are not as huge as Godzilla from time-travel.
- The attribute values have been readjusted. All bosses have their own unique attributes according to their race and type. For example, the giant salamander that stays with the Swamp Crab King has lower HP than other bosses at the same level because of its disgusting blood recovery ability, and its attack power is also weaker. The flying insects are extremely agile, so their HP is much lower than other bosses. In addition, as the difficulty of bosses increases, there is no longer such a big difference in attributes between powerful bosses and weaker bosses.
- A variety of boss types have been added. The bosses added by the two esps of leader and master are no longer just different in size. For example, if the boss is of the same type, the boss will be glowing, and the boss will be ordinary. In some areas, the leader and boss are not the same creature. For example, the giant dire wolf will stay with the giant glowing dog, the ankang will stay with the lobster, and the mire crab queen will stay with the hermit crab. In addition, multiple DLC creatures have been added, as mentioned earlier.
- Rebalanced the rewards. It is no longer like the wild boss overhaul that only gives a few pitiful gold coins. Now it gives a little more gold coins, some ammunition, and a small amount of rare materials that are not easy to obtain. Then each boss will drop a piece of legendary equipment. Although it is pitiful, at least it gives you the motivation to fight monsters instead of avoiding them directly.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
