Version 1.7 update:
- Thanks to user feedback, this update adds text shadows, iHUD compatibility, and gamepad support.
Added text shadow option, default is black shadow. You can change this setting in the customization menu.
"New Task Behavior" is an important option, but its low usability limits its use. Can now be configured directly from the admin menu.
When using the immersive HUD (iHUD), the mission HUD will also disappear when switching the HUD. Users who have previously applied a temporary patch file should delete it.
The admin menu can now be operated with a gamepad. Instructions are displayed when the menu opens.
The admin menu can be opened with items, not shortcut keys. This item can be obtained on the shortcut key settings page.
Fixed an issue where some options were not saved when saving a preset.
Fixed an issue where global values in mission names were not replaced.

This mod adds a fully customizable HUD that displays your currently active Pip-Boy mission directly on the game screen. No more turning on Pip-Boy just to check targets.
You can also selectively hide the task objective markers for any active tasks, keeping your screen clean and focused on what matters.
If desired, you can use the MCM settings to display all accepted tasks, not just active tasks. In this case, the hidden menu turns into a task activation/deactivation menu, allowing you to manage all tasks more conveniently.
This mod supports both next gen and old gen.
Version 1.2 update:
A new option "Adjust HUD width based on text" has been added to the Main Settings section of the MCM. If the text width is smaller than the HUD width, the HUD width will automatically decrease.
The "Show mission titles in a single line" option has been added to the Additional HUD settings.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
