A new male racial head replacer has been added, providing players (and optionally some NPCs) with extremely large and detailed character customization. There are three textures: 4k, 2k and 1k.

This mod was made for Fallout 4 version 1.10.163, it has not been tested on v1.10.185 and if it doesn't work I won't make a patch for it.

Overview

Oh my god. This took me longer than I'd like to admit.

Behold, the most (I think?) customizable human being in the history of Fallout. Very optimized and vanilla friendly (this does not replace the vanilla head, it adds a whole new head that you can enable and disable for you and other NPCs).

I can't even begin to talk about all the options available. However, here's a vague idea of ​​what's included:

*Eyes*: 49 options between natural, synthetic and heterochromatic, with realistic depth and light occlusion.

*Scars*: Includes but is not limited to; individual scars for each area of ​​the face, 7 wrinkle maps based on age, 4 categories of tattoos, synthetic enhancements, blood overlays, new scars, makeup, realistic beautiful vitiligo and new face paint and war paint. There is much more waiting for you to discover.

*Sculpting*: Similar to the extended face sculpting mod, but with more editable areas and smooth transitions.

*Hair*: In addition to vanilla and other patches, this mod adds 9 new hairstyles made using vanilla meshes and textures and 3 new beards.

Comes with 18 pre-made appearance menu presets, and the option to change multiple NPCs from the installer (Danse, Preston, MacCready, Deacon, Kellogg, Elder maxson, X6, Gage, Institute Father, Sturges, Travis, Rhys and Vault Representative).

Before asking any questions, please read this section:

I want 4k face textures, do I have to have 4k original faces so I don't encounter brownface?

A: No, you can use 4k and still have 1k vanilla faces, and rest assured that neither you nor any vanilla NPCs will encounter brown face bugs.

*Can I install this on an existing archive? *

A: Final answer: No. Please use at your own discretion. If you use an existing archive, please do not report bugs.

*My game crashes/gets laggy when I use 4k textures for face pinching! *

A: Use Looks Mirror! The appearance menu can be problematic at such a high resolution and with the vast array of tonal options, and if you want smooth face pinching in 4k, appearance mirror is your best bet. Alternatively, you can enable 1k files, make and save the preset and re-enable 4k textures.

*Will this mod also replace the body? *

Answer: No, just adding a new header. For the body mod, I mainly focused on making it more suitable for BodyTalk. (For best seamless results, enable SSS for BodyTalk).

*How to remove this mod? *

A: Load the "00 Unedited mesh" preset in the appearance menu (<< this is very important, otherwise if you change to human you will crash), then type "Setrace human" in the console and press enter, the head will look messy but that's normal, save and exit the whole game. When it loads, your head will be invisible, go into the appearance menu again and load the vanilla preset and voila, you now have a vanilla header.

*But my female character is now wrong D:*

A: If you want to play with a female character, delete the "Player" record in AceMaleRace.esp. For the love of God, don't comment on female bugs that you think are happening due to this mod, because this mod won't touch any female records...

compatibility:

This mod is not compatible with HIPOLY FACES REDUX. (Not because it replaces the original head, but because it uses scripting to change the player's head.

NOTE: This mod was tested in vanilla and in a personal mod pack with 500 mods, and in the Vault boy 101 series, and it worked in all cases.
