A Better World tells the story of former Institute researchers Jo and Liz, and their journey to create a better, safer world. Years after a dramatic altercation and subsequent escape from the institute, their past has caught up with them: they find themselves hunted by retaining synths and a rogue, ruthless con man, putting everything they've worked hard to build in jeopardy. To support the story, A Better World is set in the vast wilderness of Abbott County and the abandoned ruins of an underground prewar mall called Vault-Tec Plaza.
A Better World is a new project from a small, experienced development team that will feature an extensive questline, a brave new world filled with unique activities and challenges, a completely original soundtrack, and more.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
