About this mod Machine translation
NOTE: I have no experience with texturing and I take this into account for personal use.
A redesign of the Silver Shroud, changing the leather to a darker brown and adding more tear marks, more dirt, better fabric textures, etc.
I did this makeover because I really like the model of this dress but am not used to the black/silver color shade.
v1.3 is now also available in 4k with additional changes to textures and an optional version with a dark green scarf.
v1.2 adds a leather texture to the jacket, makes the shirt a little dirtier, changes the color of the hood stripe to a darker brown, and adds more subtle traces of dirt.
v1.1 makes the buttons black, fixes some minor texture issues, and makes the shirt white with some stains + cloth texture (instead of the simple, textureless brown7black)
Install
- Download the file, open the archive and drag and drop the texture folder into the data folder.
- Open your Fallout4.ini (located in: Documents\My Games\Fallout 4) and edit the line "sResourceDataDirsFinal = STRINGS\" so that it looks like this:
“sResourceDataDirsFinal = STRINGS \,TEXTURES \”
3.Done!
(To uninstall, just delete the files from "Fallout 4\Data\textures\Clothes\SilverShroud")
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
