About this mod Machine translation
Adds an AK-112 rifle inspired by Fallout 1 to the game
Prerequisite: Far Harbor, Nuclear World, Automation Workshop DLC
Inspired by the AK-112 rifle from Fallout 1-2.
Brand new weapons inspired by the AK-112 rifle from old Fallout have been added, including some custom standalone legendary receivers, as well as unique grid and tier list injections to find on your own.
Defaults to 5mm caliber, but can be upgraded to 5.56 for more damage.
ESLized ESP files.
Should be able to generate legendary effects, but these will not have unique meshes, however the unique mesh legacy is a separate mod weapon, so if you modify one of these, you should be able to have double the legendary effects.
Background introduction:
Originally chambered in 5mm, the AK112 was considered an obsolete weapon before the gun was selected and did not officially see service in the military, but it did achieve considerable success in the civilian market until relations between the United States and Comey soured to the point where trade was not allowed.
It is considered to have extremely high accuracy and is very popular in the sporting and hunting communities, but it does have a gas system that many consider to be sub-par, to the point where the fully automatic variant is considered to have a low rate of fire. (This is to balance the original setup of single shot and triple shot)
Where to find: Added to Battle Rifle same tier list
Four unique receiver positions:
Spoilers:
~~Flame Infusion - Sargans Steel Works
Rad Injection - Massive Fusion Containment Shelter
Plasma Injection - Hobby Club Basement
CryoInfusion - BADTFL Office~~
(PS: In fact, the AK112 in Fallout 1 and 2 looks more like an enlarged version of AR-10 or AR-18. This is actually better restored by New Vegas-related modules: )
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
