Completely realistic mod for VI
VI的完全真实模组
About this mod Machine translation
VI’s Total Realism Mod (TRM) philosophy • Take full advantage of EU5’s mechanics
•Create challenging gameplay for players to think about the opportunity costs of their decisions
•Make the game as historically accurate as possible without taking away from the fun of the game.
•History and the real world are the best guides to game mechanics and balance
•Challenging game mechanics outperform complex artificial intelligence
•National strength building is more important than war
Note: Most changes only affect the player, not the AI. This is for the following reasons:
•Impact on game performance
•Philosophy of Mods
•Restrictions on AI mods
•My personal time availability.
Changes Currently Implemented (Updated to Patch 1.2) • Social Cohesion Mechanic - Replaces the complacency mechanic from vanilla.
•Military Reform - This mod replaces the original "battle" with "campaign". The battles seen on the map now are not individual battles, but rather staged campaigns that culminate in battle and take longer to span. New concepts of campaign operations, campaign events, battle plans, and battle tactics are introduced. There are many more changes: for a full description of the mod, visit the Indie Military Transformation Mod's website:
- Land Mechanism - Land was the cornerstone of medieval life. Its ownership and use were decisive factors during that period. You can buy, sell, confiscate or give away land. (More information in a separate post here or in the Paradox forum dedicated to TRM).
- Circular Economy and Corruption - All government monthly expenditures (budget interface) are allocated between markets and residents, representing purchases of goods and payment of salaries/commissions. Corruption is a new concept affecting the economy.
- Limited Urbanization - Urbanization is inhibited. The world should not be completely covered with cities and towns. Each province can only have 1 city and up to 2 towns. A small province can have 1 city or 1 town.
- "Toll Castle" has been replaced by "Noble Castle", which could be built before the Reformation era.
•Enhanced council system
- Parliament can also be called when the ruler dies and the country is under attack (including civil war)
- The generic name of "parliament" has been replaced by "estates council" and the UI displays the country's local council name, e.g. the UI for Turkic countries will display "Divan" instead of "parliament"
- New parliamentary requests; for example, emergency loans, revocation of privileges.
- The game has parliamentary questions, agendas, requests. The TRM has added "parliamentary action" decisions, which do not require parliamentary support but could have a huge impact if taken. For example, devaluing currency and selling official positions.
•Environmental prerequisite system
*Topography, vegetation and climate determine where cities and towns are built. For example, mountainous deserts cannot build cities. Topography, vegetation and climate have a huge impact on RGO and building output. For example, hilly forests with arctic climates cannot support agriculture. • Newer institution of marriage
- Royal marriages had monetary costs (in the form of wedding fees or dowry fees)
- Modified the effects of marriage;• Updated villages
- Fishing villages can only be built where there are fish, but can also be built in urban locations.
- A new type of village - "Mining Village" - can also be built in urban locations. climate impact system
- Added new drought (regional impact) and pest/disease (locational impact) events that can have huge impacts on food and commodity production
inflationary pressure system
- Loans and other one-time injections of money into the economy will have inflationary costs
bureaucracy system
- New "bureaucratic size" rule
- New bureaucracy costs will depend on the size of your country
Other economic changes
- Overall, players will be challenged to manage the market’s food supply
- Increased demand for fish among POP living in coastal a …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
