🌟 Feature Highlights
Have you ever been exploring a dark cave or a grim catacomb and suddenly found yourself face to face with a sword, or plunged into an abyss filled with pain and torture? I've had this experience, and I'm sure you have too. If only there was a way to light the way forward almost as you wish!
While we have torches, lanterns, and starlight spells, they all have what I consider major flaws: either the light is too dim (like the lantern), or they take up valuable gear slots, or even worse - take up your other hand (like the torches and spells).
Now let me introduce you to **Viscous Lights**! This is a quality of life improvement mod that gives you more control over where and how glowing stones are placed in the game.
🎯 Core Features
- **Air Flight Ability**: I made the glowing stone fly in the air until it hits a hard surface and functions normally
- **Double Duration**: Doubles the duration of lighting effects, allowing you to explore areas longer without changing
- **NO HATE ATTRACTION**: Instead of enraging enemies, you can target enemies and throw glow stones and it will pass through any hard surface they are stuck behind
- **Tactical Application**: Great for revealing hidden enemy clusters in low light areas

Added a little surprise to the Drifting Graveyard starting area, allowing you to immediately test these features without crafting!
📥 Installation Guide
Independent module (original Elden Ring)
Drag and drop the Regulation.bin folder into your Elden's Circle game folder. Usually located at:
`(your drive):\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\ELDEN RING\Game`
Merge options
(This option assumes you have a basic understanding of how to merge mods using tools like **dsmapstudio** and **mod engine** and run the game without touching the Elden's Ring game folder)
Just download the CSV files of my mods and use dsmapstudio to import them individually into yours:
- **Bullet**
- **EquipParamGoods**
- **ItemLotParam_map**
Then put the modified files into the 'mod' folder of the mod engine to start the game!

💡 **Tip**: Have fun trying this mod, it will make your underground exploration easier and safer!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
