Weapon upgrade and enhancement gain
🎮 **A small experiment on game process balance**
✨ Module function
I've added a damage boost from weapon upgrades to improve game progression balance:
🔧 **Standard upgrade adjustment**
- Get more damage buffs with each upgrade
- +25 upgrade originally provided 200% damage, now increased to 300%
- The correction value has not been adjusted
⚔️ **Quality upgrade and optimization**
- Only the correction value has been adjusted
- Moderate gain overall
- The effect is not as drastic as the standard upgrade
📊 Actual effect example
**Dagger (+25)**
- Original: Standard 181 damage, Quality 145 damage
- Module: Standard 222 damage, quality 145 damage (both modifiers are A)
**Greatsword (+25)**
- Original: Standard 338 damage, quality 272 damage (B correction)
- Module: Standard 414 damage, quality 272 damage (still B correction)
🎯 Design Goals
This mod aims to:
- As an alternative to post-correction repair modules
- Improve early damage output
- Allows players to deal considerable damage to Malkit and Grek
- Reduce time spent searching for upgrade materials
⚠️ Important reminder
- This is an early version and not fully tested yet
- May cause the character to be too powerful
-Feedback and suggestions welcome
🔧 Installation method
- Place the CSV file into the res→GR→Data folder
- Use Yapped to open regulation.bin (remember to back up the original file)
- Find the ReinforceParamWeapon row and import the data
- Click Save to complete the installation
🚫 **IMPORTANT WARNING**: Please be sure to use it in offline mode and use a dedicated offline save!
📝 Update log
**UPDATE 1**
- Retuned Standard, Heavy, Sharp and Quality upgrades
- Standard upgrade seems to be the most effective type at the moment
-Working on balancing other upgrade types
- The goal is to enhance quality upgrades while making Thick and Sharp more suitable for pure strength or agility builds
💡 Still making balance adjustments, feedback is welcome!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
