Mod Engine Organizer
🎮 **A mod manager designed specifically for Mod Engine 2**
💡 Why do you need this tool?
Dropping all files directly into Mod Engine 2's *mod* folder is simple, but will result in a messy folder. It will become troublesome later to figure out which file belongs to which mod, or to deal with multiple armor/NPC replacers replacing the same armor/NPC.
✨ Core Functions
- **Separate Mod Management**: Store each mod in a separate folder like Skyrim's Mod Organizer 2
- **Conflict Highlighting**: Automatically highlight modules with file conflicts
- **Quick Switch**: Just tick the checkbox to enable or disable mods, no need to manually delete or re-add files
- **DLL Manager**: Enable/disable DLL files or drag and drop to adjust loading order
- **File Tree View**: Displays the contents of each mod, double-click the dcx file to replace armor parts or hairstyles
🚀 Quick Start
- **Extract and run**: Unzip the zip package to any location and run **Mod Engine Organizer.exe**
- **Configuration file settings**: Select your **config_eldenring.toml** file path (located in the Mod Engine 2 decompression directory) and click Next
- **Add new module**: Click **Add empty module**, enter the name and create
- **Install module files**: Right-click the newly created module, select **Open in Explorer**, and put the downloaded module files (chr, parts, menu, sfx, etc.) into the folder
- **Enable Mod**: Check the checkbox to enable the module
- **Start Game**: Click **Run Elden Ring** to start the game

🎯 Conflict detection function
When multiple mods replace the same file, the manager highlights conflicts, allowing you to easily identify and switch between different mods.
🆕 New features in version 0.4
- **Support more games**: Support other ME2 compatible games such as Dark Souls 3, Armored Core 6, etc.
- **Multi-game configuration**: Manage modules for different games through the **Switch Game** function
🛠️Other game setting methods
- Create a new folder in the same location as the existing **mod** folder (such as **ds3_mod**)
- Open **config_darksouls3.toml**
- Find the `mods = [` section and change `path = "mod"` to `path = "ds3_mod"`
- Click **Switch Game** in the manager, add a new game and select a profile
📁 DLL Manager (v0.3)
- Enable/disable DLL files
- Drag and drop to adjust DLL loading order
- Supports any location within the ME2 installation directory
🔧 File tree and replacement function (v0.2)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
