Sekiro Deflection and Dodge

⚠️ **This mod is obsolete** - It is recommended to use newer blocking mods

---

🎯 Core Functions

Sekiro style blocking system

  • **Perfect Block Timing**: Block immediately before the enemy attack hits, which can completely offset the damage and avoid stamina loss
  • **Counterattack Mechanism**: Successful blocking will cause endurance damage to the attacker, and continuous blocking can destroy the enemy's posture.
  • **Directional Animation**: Contains the blocking animation based on the attack direction in Sekiro. Attacks from the left will be smoothly blocked to the right.

Sekiro style dodge system

  • **Sprint instead of roll**: Rolling forward becomes a sprint action
  • **Lock Quick Step**: The dodge when locking the enemy becomes a quick step action

🛡️ Block value details

**Defense absorption rate when blocking continuously:**

  • Physical damage: 100%
  • Magic damage: 90%
  • Fire damage: 90%
  • Lightning damage: 50%
  • Holy damage: 90%

**Status abnormality resistance:**

  • Poison/Crimson Corruption: 90%
  • Bleeding: 80%
  • Miasma of Death: 50%
  • Frostbite/Sleep/Madness: 90%

⚠️ Notes

  • **Required Mod Engine 2**
  • Incompatible with modules that modify regulation.bin
  • Requires merge operation to coexist with other mods

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
