StackingEnhancement

v0.1.0·Updated 2026-05-07

Adds late-game cargo stacking technologies up to 8 and lets automatic pilers output stacks above 4.

About this mod Machine translation

stack enhancement

Add more than 4 levels of cargo stacking for the late game and make the Autoloader great again!

The newly added upgrades will improve the throughput of the logistics transportation station. Combined with the unique stacking capabilities of the automatic container loader, it will bring more possibilities to the later production line design. It should be noted that this may cause some blueprints that rely on the throughput speed of the logistics transport station to not work properly.

content

  • Added 5~8 layers of stacking enhancement and upgrade technology, which requires transport station container logistics level 3 as a prerequisite upgrade.
  • Each level of upgrade will increase the cargo stacking limit of the logistics transport station by 1 layer, and allow the automatic container loader to generate the corresponding number of layers of goods.
  • White Claws (container sorters) still maintain a maximum stack limit of 4 levels when unloading, and in the default configuration only automated pallets can generate larger than 4-level stacks outside of the transport station.
  • Goods with more than 4 layers will be rendered correctly on the conveyor belt (mould-wearing may occur in some scenes)

Options

The configuration file is located at BepInEx/config/com.komonad.dsp.stackingenhancement.cfg.

  • EnableCargoStackShader (enabled by default): Enables a custom conveyor cargo rendering shader that supports correct height for >4 layers and side layer splits. If rendering abnormalities occur after the game is updated, turn off this option to fall back to the original rendering.
  • EnhancePileSorter (off by default): When enabled, the output stack limit of the White Claw (container sorter) follows the stack enhancement technology level, instead of the maximum 4 layers.

compatibility

  • Currently adapted game version: 0.10.33.25830
  • Tested for compatibility with GenesisBook 3.2.3, OrbitalRing 1.0.5. If you encounter compatibility issues with other MODs, please provide feedback.

Stacking Enhancement

Adds cargo stacking beyond 4 layers in the late game — make automatic pilers great again!

The new upgrades increase logistics station throughput. Combined with automatic pilers' exclusive stacking ability, this opens up more possibilities for late-game production line design. Note that this may cause some blueprints that depend on logistics station throughput rates to stop working correctly.

Features

  • New technologies: Stacking Enhancement levels 5–8. Prerequisite: Logistics Piling level 3.
  • Each level raises the logistics station cargo output stack limit by 1 and allows automatic pilers to produce stacks of the corresponding height.
  • Pile sorters retain their 4-layer cap; only automatic pilers can create stacks above 4 layers outside of stations.
  • Belt rendering supports cargo stacks above 4 layers (minor clipping may occur in some scenarios).

Options

Config file: BepInEx/config/com.komonad.dsp.stackingenhancement.cfg

  • EnableCargoStackShader (default on): Enables the custom belt cargo rendering shader with correct height and side layer lines for >4 stacks. Disable if rendering breaks after a game update.
  • EnhancePileSorter (default off): When enabled, pile sorters output stacks matching the Stacking Enhancement tech level instead of the default 4-layer cap.

Compatibility

  • Tested against game version: 0.10.33.25830
  • Tested compatible with GenesisBook 3.2.3 and OrbitalRing 1.0.5. Feedback welcome if issues arise with other mods.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
