DSPProliferatorTweak
Used to modify the Proliferator for the GenesisBook
About this mod Machine translation
DSP Proliferator Tweak
Dyson Sphere Project (DSP) BepInEx plug-in: Expand the global Cargo production increase lookup table at runtime, write custom gears, and optionally change the Ability (production increase gear) and HpMax (number of sprays) of the production increase agent specified in the "Book of Creation" to configuration values without changing the Genesis source code or JSON.
Author: Kawaayi
Plugin GUID: DSP.Kawaayi.ProliferatorTweak
Features
- Customize the production increase gear: Add or overwrite a grid on Cargo.incTable / accTable / powerTable and Milli, powerTableRatio and other tables. The value is determined by the configuration (consistent with the original table storage method).
- Break through the upper limit of the original level: Use Harmony to change the literal value of 10 for the aggregation production level in the assembly plant, research station, and spraying machine to a configurable upper limit, so that gears with Ability > 10 can participate in the actual calculation.
- Anti-collapse of item description: Check and expand the table before ItemProto.GetPropValue to prevent the UI from going out of bounds when accessing Cargo[this.Ability].
- Book of Genesis (optional): soft dependency org.LoShin.GenesisBook; the Ability and HPMax of the default item 1143 can be written as configuration values.
- Configuration hot update: After saving the configuration, it will be re-applied (it is recommended to evaluate the archive compatibility by yourself if you change the value greatly).
Installation instructions
- Install BepInEx 5 (including Harmony) to the game directory.
- Place DSPProliferatorTweak.dll into Dyson Sphere Program/BepInEx/plugins/ (you can add another subfolder).
- After starting the game once, DSP.Kawaayi.ProliferatorTweak.cfg will be generated under BepInEx/config/, edit it as needed or use Configuration Manager.
Configuration instructions
Configuration file path: BepInEx/config/DSP.Kawaayi.ProliferatorTweak.cfg
[CustomSlot] Custom slot
| Key name | Default value | Description |
|------|--------|------|
| AbilityIndex | 11 | Consistent with ItemProto.Ability. >10 will expand the relevant array; ≤10 will only cover the cell. |
| ExtraOutputTenths | 250 | Extra output: Cargo.incTable Integer, ×0.1 = Display percentage (250 → +25.0%). |
| SpeedBonusTenths | 1000 | Manufacturing speed: Same as above (1000 → +100.0%). |
| ExtraPowerCostTenths | 1500 | Extra power consumption: Same as above (1500 → +150.0%). |
[GenesisBook] Creation items (optional)
| Key name | Default value | Description |
|------|--------|------|
| SetGenesisItemAbility | true | Whether to set the Ability of the item corresponding to ItemId to AbilityIndex. |
| ItemId | 1143 | The item ID to be overridden. |
| SetItemSprayTimesHpMax | true | Whether to override the item's HpMax (which the sprayer uses as the base for the number of sprays). |
| SprayTimesHpMax | 60 | Written HpMax (common magnitude of the original three-speed increase is about 12 / 24 / 60). |
Example: Change only the number of sprays but not the Ability → Set SetGenesisItemAbility to false and leave SetItemSprayTimesHpMax as true.
Things to note
- The production increase table is global static data: the same Ability subscript will be shared by all items/logic using this gear. Do not compete with other mods for the same custom subscript unless you know the consequences.
- Soft dependency on Genesis: You can still modify the table when Genesis is not installed; rewriting specified items will be silently skipped if the corresponding ID cannot be found.
- Upgrade from the old GUID: If ai.local.DSPProliferatorTweak has been used, the configuration will change to a new file name and needs to be manually migrated or re-adjusted.
Technical description
- Based on BepInEx 5, .NET Framework 4.7.2, Harmony.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
