About this mod Machine translation

senaherocharacter

After being lost in madness for what seems like an eternity, a newcomer struggles to return to reality, dragging his tired body to Hamlet. Although her grasp on sanity is tenuous, she draws strength from madness and will ride this whirlwind of destruction to oblivion. Sometimes, if she is lucky, she will stand among the ruins—a solitary figure, mourning the dead.

A Senna comes to Hamlet. You may ask, what is Sena? Is she related to the little-known Celtic goddess Senuna? Maybe. Is she related to Senua from Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice? **Absolutely relevant! ** She even carried the severed head of her lover on her back and embarked on a dark journey. If there's any character who's a natural fit for Darkest Dungeon, it's her. With her hallucinations and delusions, she should fit in perfectly with the other residents of Hamlet.

⚔️ Combat Skills

People say that a madman fights with the strength of ten men. Maybe this woman can prove that statement to be true. One of the core concepts of Senna's class is: **Her damage scales with stress**. The higher the pressure, the greater the damage caused. For every 20 points of pressure her sword skills have, the damage increases by an additional 10%, up to a maximum of +40% damage at 80 points or higher. Obviously, having 80 points of pressure is quite dangerous because of the risk of falling into torture, but it's up to you how much risk you take.

  • **Wild Strike**: A quick tap with a high chance of getting a counterattack*.
  • **Powerful Strike**: A heavy, powerful attack that does massive damage, but has a low chance of getting a counterattack*.
  • **Kick**: A good, solid kick to the shield (or directly between the legs). This skill attempts to **stun** enemies that are guarding, and otherwise attempts to **knockback** enemies that are not guarding anyone. Guardians don't need to worry about being knocked back, only being stunned.
  • **Stab**: A lunging attack designed to penetrate armor. Can only be used from the middle two positions, and has a high chance of getting a counterattack*.
  • **Interview Time**: Sometimes Sena just needs to talk to the severed head hanging next to her. This is very disturbing. This skill makes her **Tough** but inflicts **Fear** on her allies (although they will fight a little harder due to the tension).
  • **Mixed Mind**: Sometimes the horror is just too much. The boss monster, Madman, Senna uses her "Interview Time" skill... This skill transfers all the **fear** the other heroes are experiencing directly onto Sena, allowing her to wallow in her own pain and sorrow. It also makes her **ignorant** to friends and foes alike. She is the only one here and enemies attack her from the shadows. All enemies and all allies gain **Stealth**, but her denial of reality (or the unreal nature of the experience) makes her more resistant to **Crit Hits** that would knock out weaker warriors.
  • **Focus**: While "Leper" has a skill with the same name, it's hard to find a better name. Players who have played Hellblade will know that Senua uses her focus ability both in and out of combat. This skill **Reveals Hidden Things** removes stealth from all friends and all enemies. However, the shocking revelation also staggers them, inflicting a stun on everyone but herself. It also provides her with a small amount of **self-heal** to help her recover from any damage she may take.
*Percent Counter Note: Senna's Counter is not always guaranteed to trigger. "Powerful Blow" only has a 50% chance of granting a counter attack, while "Strike" and "Wild Strike" have a 70% chance. Additionally, since Counterattack has no default tooltip, it's worth noting that her Counterattack removes the attacker's stealth and reduces the light level by 3 points (to represent the spreading darkness she fears) while fighting back.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
