Slave Unit slave unit
Hello, this is version 1 of my Slave mod. It adds a new unit, the slave. The slave has a construction cost of 1 and a production cost of 12, it should also be able to do everything a builder can do, except for the customization abilities of builders in civilization or other modes. (Example: Chinese wall improvements cannot be built by slaves.) This is partly for balance and partly because I don't know how to code it.
If you have any input on this mod or think some values need to be changed, please feel free to ask.
Anyway, this should have no conflicts as it just relies on the builder's texture. (The latter ear one, sorry, but I put it on that one because I couldn't find a better texture.)
Installation instructions:
download it
unzip it
Copy/move to your mods folder (assuming you haven't changed its default location, that will be "This PC>Documents>My Games>Sid Meier's Civilization VI>Mods")
Start Civilization 6
Click "Other Content"
Scroll down until you find "Slave Mod V1"
click on it
Click "Enable"
You're done (it would bother me that it was step 9 instead of 8 or 10)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
