Ratt's Various Tweaks
This is my first model of Civ VI. Mostly just tweaks to the game to improve a few things that I think could be done better.
- The purpose is to fix some of the game's poorer balance issues (like the fact that Swordsmen can easily beat Pikemen 1 on 1 despite having a cost advantage of over 2:1, or that Knights are conceivably better than Pikemen in every way) without changing the base game too much.
- I'm also aiming to eliminate all leaf technologies and citizens in the game, as well as bring every level of government to the same level (which still makes me feel like royal theocracies and merchant republics unlock later than monarchies, and leaf citizens are there).
That said, this mod is not designed to optimize the game, but rather to simplify some parts of the game that I found rough.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
