Civ Flavor Deity Change AI
Civ Flavor Deity Change AI
Change personal building preferences for AI civilizations. There are no changes to any game mechanics, difficulty bonuses, or how the AI uses its units. The goal of Flavor Deity is to make AI more competitive and give each civilization a more unique flavor.
The mod contains a single file for each civilization, including all DLC civilizations. If you do not own all DLC civilizations, you must delete the corresponding files in the mod folder.
Suitable for any difficulty level but optimized for Immortal games.
Feedback is encouraged as this is an ongoing project and I will continue to make adjustments based on feedback.
The mod is easy to edit to suit your preferences. There is a file called major.xml whose value you can change and it will affect all civilizations. So if you wanted to have a peaceful building race with the AI, you could go into the major.xml file and change the combat pseudo-yield value to -10000, and they would build very few troops.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
