About this mod Author’s original text

Tidy Lost and Found

Tidy Lost and Found replaces the cluttered pile in the Lost and Found area with an organized display wall. Every item recovered can be neatly mounted onto a dedicated slot.

All players need it installed with the same column/slot numbers set for it to load safely across the lobby.

Features & Usage

  • Automatic Tidying: Racks loose items automatically when entering the map or loading in.
  • Customizable Layout: Adjust the total pocket count, column grid size, spacing, height, rotation, omitted items, and offsets to fit your space how you like.
  • Manual Trigger: Press Shift+F7 (configurable) to rebuild and tidy the area on demand.

Default Settings of Note

So you press left shift & F7 to restock everything nearby and left shift & F8 to send it all crashing down.

The shift key is because the functions keys have been overused in mods and nobody wants to open three menus at once.

Currently backpacks load in dropped to the ground because feedback indicates it's a little quicker to get everyone dressed without everyone diving for the same corner.

You can go as tall or as long as you want. It will clip through walls and hide objects in there if you are drunk on boogers levels of reckless.

Configuration

The configuration file is generated at BigWalk/BepInEx/config/gogogadgetjustice.tidy.lostandfound.cfg.

Shoutouts & Greetz

  • regulusmagnus and their save file editor which let me easily toss every loose object in the game into the lost and found.
  • Andrew1431 and their Big Choppa which saved me some time figuring out how to get the mountings working consistently and providing the term pockets, which is much more on Big Walk brand than calling them wall mounts.
  • Claude, I guess, for helping both of them. I don't care for LLMs but I guess I need to make peace with the

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
  3. For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.

Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
