About this mod Machine translation

General information:

Clone buildings with just the click of a button.

Save buildings to items and place clones of the originals anywhere.

Suitable for vanilla and modified structural parts.

Mod-ID = 1354681709

usage:

Spawn or Craft (Level 75 engram), Structure Protector:

cheat giveitem“Blueprint' / Game / Mods / StructureSaver / Items / PrimalItemStructure_Saver_SS.PrimalItemStructure_Saver_SS'”1 0 0

Place structural protectors near the building you want to save. Use the wheel menu to adjust settings and use the "Save" option in the wheel menu to create a structure restorer in the inventory.

Place the Structure Restorer where you want to create the clone and use the scroll wheel menu to do so. You will need project blocks for saved buildings in the Structural Rebuilder inventory, the requirements can be viewed using the carousel menu option "List Blocks".

You can bypass the oil and item requirements by turning on "infinitestats":

Cheating is endless

Restore structures are disabled by default for non-administrators. To enable it, add the following to GameUserSettings.ini:

[StructureSaver]

EnableForPlayers=True

Important notes:

Restoration projects can no longer be uploaded using the Ark transfer system, instead they are transferred between servers/single player using the Building Plan Storage (described below).

The original structure is not required to restore the item.

The contents of the manifest are not saved/restored by default.

Administrators can choose to use projects for saving and restoring. Item statistics are randomized and will not be restored as on save. It's best to use project save and restore only for batch projects.

The restored structure is not connected to this mod and you can safely delete this mod after use.

You can name restorer items by naming the saver structure before saving.

If a restorer structure is picked up while restoration is not complete, the structural pieces that have been restored will be destroyed and the associated structural pieces will be left in bags on the ground.

After restoring a building, the game will complain about a missing foundation when you try to build one on top of the foundation. This will fix itself on server restart, or if you are in single player, exit the main menu and reload the save game.

Building plan storage:

In addition to conservation and restoration, there is also a storage of architectural plans. Craft (Level 20 England) or spawn:

cheat giveitem“Blueprint'/ Game / Mods / StructureSaver / Items / PrimalItemStructure_BuildingPlanStorage_SS.PrimalItemStructure_BuildingPlanStorage_SS'”1 0 0

The building plan store can hold 100 restorers and contains a number of (1) predefined building plans that players can purchase for 200 oil. To purchase a predefined building plan, select it and click the "Buy" button.

Administrators can add new building plans for purchase. To add a new building plan, place the recovery item into storage, select it, and click the "Store" button.

Added building plans are saved on disk: .../ShooterGame/Saved/SaveGames/StructureSaver-#.sav

where # is the slot number used. The current slot number can be changed using the wheel menu. Building plans can be saved on slots 1..99, the default slot (number 0) is reserved for predefined building plans.

Building plans saved on disk can be copied freely: between server and single-player games.

All building plan stores share the same set of purchasable building plans.

The template name can be configured in GameUserSettings.ini:

[StructureSaver]

SlotName - #NAME =

Where # is the template number to use and NAME is the name you want to give the slot. Repeat this line for each slot name you want to set.

For example:

[StructureSaver]

SlotName-1=Starter Buildings

SlotName-2=Homes

SlotName-3=Castles

SlotName-4=Workshops

Player personal storage:

Players can choose to use personal storage to plan. Personal storage is disabled by default, set UserSlot in GameUserSettings.ini to activate it:

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
