I translated a mod I personally made using the framework MoreTranslation.
Installation Guide (Manual)
- Install Obeliskial Essentials and Obeliskial Content.
- Click _Manual Download_ at the top of the page.
- On the steam page, right-click across the obelisk and select Manage → Browse local files.
- Extract the archive to the game folder. Your Across the Obelisk folder should now contain a BepInEx folder and a doorstop\_libs folder.
- Start the game. If everything is running fine, you will see the MoreTranslation module in the list of registered modules in the main menu.
- Press F5 to open/close the configuration manager, and press F1 to display/hide mod version information. Please check the language pack installation entry later.
- After installing the language pack, select Simplified Chinese in the second box of the in-game language option.

- Download and install Mod Manager or r2modman.
- Click the Install with Mod Manager button at the top of the page.
- Launch the game through the mod manager. Please check the language pack installation entry later.
- After installing the language pack, select Simplified Chinese in the second box of the in-game language option.
Language pack installation
Because of garbled characters, the language pack cannot be installed directly from the mod website, so the translated content needs to be downloaded by yourself. Go here to download.
Just download the language pack through Releases on the right and extract the contents of the compressed package to the mod path.
Please store the language pack file in (the previous file path varies depending on the mod manager and manual installation. If you use the mod manager to install, please find the mod file storage location in the manager. For manual installation, it is in the steam game folder)\\BepInEx\plugins\\(Shazixnar-Shaz ixnar_Translation) directory (the path in parentheses may or may not exist, depending on the mod manager), except for moretranslations.txt, the other txt files are translation texts. If the corresponding mod is not downloaded, just delete its entry.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
