Roomscale players, have you ever become frustrated trying to line up your character with a chair in game while also attempting to sit in real life?

Fedup of the finding that once you have sat down your character is no longer facing the correct direction or worse still is now floating behind the bench you just sat on?

Had it up to your eyeballs with the game leaving your hitbox at the foot of a chair just because you stood up in real life and moved to the center of your play space?

If the above applies to you then this may very well be the mod for you...

Really? What does it do?

Well it fixes those problems by introducing a 'L.A Noire: VR Case Files' inspired approach to swapping from standing room scale play to seated play when the player uses furniture such as chairs, stools or benches.

A simplfied explanation of what the mod does:

When a user selects a furniture piece to sit on:

It stops the sitting down animation

Fades the screen to black

A message box is displayed asking the player to be seated and to then press the trigger button to continue.

Once the trigger button is pressed the sitting down animation continues, the screen fades from black back to the game at which point your character will be seated, oriented and positioned correctly on the furniture piece in-line with your real life self.

When a user exits a furniture piece:

It stops the standing up animation

Fades the screen to black

A message box is displayed asking the player to stand & return to the center of their play space and then press the trigger button to continue

Once the trigger button is pressed the standing up animation continues and the screen fades from black back to the game with the player positioned next to the furniture piece with the hitbox in the correct location.

Note:This mod uses a script attached to all of the usable furniture pieces in game. It is highly recommened that you backup your save game prior to using this mod.

Installation:

It is advisable to create a save where your character is not seated prior to installing this mod and to backup any save games so you can cleanly return to a previous state should you decide that this mod is not for you.

• Download and install using a mod manager or manually - the choice is yours!.
• Play the game
• The mod now includes an options book called 'Seating Posture Vol.1', this will be automatically added to your inventory. You can use this to  adjust your sitting height for each of the following: Chairs, stools and mounts.
• The book also allows you to turn horse support on or off. It should be set to off by default.
