Purpose

Every time you ask merchants to trade with you or followers to open their inventory in vanilla Skyrim, you will have to wait for them to finish their dialog then they will show the requested menu. This mod tries to address that problem and by entirely removing the delay and letting said NPC finish the dialog while the menu is opened.

Vanilla Skyrim runs the scripts responsible for opening these menus after the dialogs while this mod switches them to be run before the dialogs. Doing all of that is possible without any script editing. But due to some minor issues caused when the menus open up too soon, a negligible amount of delay is added to the scripts to ensure they function as intended.

Instructions

Automated FoMod installer is provided for your convenience which contains the Main plugin, compatibility patches and the script sources for those who wish to implement this fix in their own mods. This mod is safe to install and uninstall mid-game as the script modifications are insignificant.

In case you prefer not to use LOOT, I would recommend prioritizing this mod to all other mods in your list as there are only a few edits in this mod which probably will not cause any conflicts with other mods. The plugins are provided in ESPFE format for less load-order slot consumption.

Note:

Next version this mod will get out of WIP state and covers all possible barter menu and open inventory dialogues from vanilla Skyrim, DLCs, Relationship Dialogue Overhaul, and Misc Dialogue Edits mod. At the moment there are only 40 dialogues from Dragonborn DLC which are not yet covered. After that, I plan to expand the mod even further and cover all service dialogues including asking followers to do something, to wait or follow, NPCs who teach something, etc. This, however, depends on the popularity of the mod and the amount of free time I get.
