Mod

This is a Skyrim SE port of ArcadeParty's GreyLight Soul-Summoning Mod, the fixed version, previously found on the Workshop. All I did was use CreationKit to convert it to form 44.esp file and tested it in-game to make sure everything was working as it should. I did this only with permission of the original mod author, ArcadeParty.

Original Description of the Mod

With this mod, you can slay a creature, steal its soul, and then summon it in battle. This is done through a new and unique crafting station. You use the soul gem with the creatures soul in it, an article or item that creature is associated with (i.e. a wolf pelt for a wolf), and a ruined book, and you will be able to craft a spell tome which will teach you a spell to summon the soul of that creature. Pretty cool right? This works for virtually every creature in Skyrim!

Here is a precise list of each and every creature that can be summoned:

Predators

Bear

Cave Bear

Snow Bear

Chaurus

Chaurus Reaper

Frostbite Spider

Giant Frostbite Spider

Troll

A good place to start is a location called Grey's Rest. Here you will find the new crafting station, the Soul Fire crafting pot, as well as some books and supplies that will come in handy. This new location has its own fast travel marker for ease of access. In addition to all of the craftable spell tomes, two special summonable creatures make an appearance. Slaughter makes a return from an earlier mod, Spectral Summons, and is accompanied by Stride, a very fast spectral horse. Both of these companions are summoned through lesser powers which occupy the voice slot. Their tomes can be found at Grey's Rest.

IMPORTANT: All of the summonable creatures level as you do. Which means that you can use your favorite creature and never worry about it not being as strong as the others.
