Not enough NPC variety in your game? Not enough gambling? Do you really wish your Luck stat could be at 10 and subsequently become enraged when you realize you're playing a TES game and not Fallout? Fret not, because you can relive your days of wagering on cockfights by fighting the cocks yourself. Grab your axe, scream at the top of your lungs, and start terrorizing the local farm... because if it lays eggs, it's time to smash its legs.

This is Chicken Roulette.

Just like in real life, you can now diversify your farm by smacking the chickens around. Upon death, chickens now explode into an entirely different individual - it can be a Sabre Cat, a Bandit Chief, Nazeem, Krosis... Anyone! It can even be me. Please let it be me. Let me out.

Chicken Roulette

Killing a chicken now replaces it with a random NPC or creature. The individual in question is chosen from every single NPC and creature in the game. Thus, you have a chance of spawning anyone from another chicken to big boy Miraak himself, who really needs to get out of Morrowind sometime anyways.

Far more chickens are added to the game. Well, they actually take the place of certain baskets, so you'll have chickens showing up in much more immersive locations, such as sepulchres. As we all know, avians enjoy roosting in places where corpses are stored. The stench aids in fertility, since it gives the living a sense of purpose.

As a result, Skyrim is now far more interesting. Though creating poultry is now impossible, creating Sheogorath from a chicken corpse is not.

You know what? I lied. It's not just chickens. It's elk and foxes, too. Rupture their veins, drink their blood, and as your thirst is slaked, face off against whatever poor sod is unfortunate enough to burst forth from the cadaver. The battle doesn't end when animals' lives do.
