SSE獨有的優雅武器

Crafted from past ages of the Elves for an owner of elegant style the weapon is now seeking a new owner. Butterfly is a sword concept I've had a for a few months and wanted to see if I could bring it to life. The entire guard of the sword is comprised of the Butterfly wings. It goes without saying this sword is definitely fantasy and not lore-friendly. However, if you are looking for a more aesthetic design that you feel fits your character's style then this is the weapon for you. The Sword has been balanced to be moderate in damage and weight for a broadsword style.

To obtain the weapon there are several ways you can grab it. The weapon has been injected into the vendor lists via a script so there is a chance you can outright buy one of them if it shows up at a shop. If you prefer to find the sword in the world there is a worn version laying against a tree stump along the river just past Riverwood (see location image below for more details). If you prefer to just craft the sword instead you can find it in the Ebony section. Once you have Ebony smithing unlocked you can craft any version of the sword assuming you have the proper materials. Since this sword is of a Butterfly design you'll need to catch a few butterflies along your travels for crafting materials too. The weapon can be tempered at the grindstone. The last way to obtain the sword is through the debug commands. If you search 'help butterfly 4' you can obtain the weapon this way.

How do I install the mod?

Use your preferred mod manager or manually extract all files into your data folder.

How do I know the mod was installed correctly?

When you start a new game or load the mod for the first time with your character you will see a notification in the top left indicating the Sword has been installed.

The textures/mod appear to be missing when I install it how do I fix this?

Make sure you are putting the files in your data folder and follow this guide here

Do I need to create a bashed patch?

No, the mod does not alter any vanilla level lists. A script is used to inject the sword into the vendors.

I am not seeing the sword appear in any vendors where is it?

You may need to wait several in-game days to reset the cells. The weapon has a small chance of appearing so even then not all vendors will be selling it very often.
